Where on my pd notebook can I insert sd card from android cell?

I want to put photos from sd card onto computer then format the sd card so it accepts all the new photos I take.

Your Android phone has a micro SdCard and your laptop probably has a port for full size SdCard. Buy a converter for a few pounds/dollars, rupees or whatever and pop the micro into it.

Don't format it at all. Windows is more likely to put on a format Android won't like. It should work in both systems as it is.
