Why is my new pro duo memory card not working in my cyber-source camera

Just bought a new pro duo memory card and when input in my cyber-source camera it says image data base file error cannot record contents

Look in the camera for a format option for the card, it may need to be formatted first. Also make sure the card type and size is supported by the camera.
