Question Why won't the music on my mp3 player play?

Did it work at one point and now it won't? If it's new and never worked, I'd definitely agree with rgd1101 that returning it is your best option. If it's an older device that's not eligible for returns, there may be some other options like a factory reset, but you'd want to reach out to the manufacturer's support team for specific guidance before trying that.
