Windows 7 Yahoo Email Error- Compaq

Everytime my coworker goes to Yahoo e-mail, he receives the error;

"If you are seeing this page, your browser settings are preventing you from automatically redirecting you to a new URL"

from His Compaq Windows 7 Laptop. He read about it happening online , but has not found a solution and cannot log into his Yahoo e-mail.

I reset the browser. Was able to open the e-mail page, but when logging in error returned.

Internet Explorer keeps launching repeatedly forcing us to shut the laptop down. Cannot log into e-mail on the laptop with Yahoo. I am going to test other e-mail websites.

I was able to log in and use Yahoo e-mail (mail.yahoo.com) from Google Chrome browser. But after clearing the temp folders etc. again , problem still occuring from Yahoo e-mail. Also, I could log into Hotmail from IE.

Would reinstalling the Adobe Flash Player make a difference?
