Yes, it includes the upgrade of almost all the software that came with your
device, including the software included with Windows, like MSN Messenger,
Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, Pocket Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player
and many others.
I have been using Windows Mobile 2003 for some time now and I'm really happy
with that.
