Would using a digital coaxial cable while also using an HDMI cable result in problems?

I want to connect a Direct TV mini Genie to my computer monitor, but I will have to use HDMI for video out and digital coaxial for audio.

Would there be problems if I were to do that? Like would the HDMI interfere with the digital coaxial since they both transfer sound?
