The Xbox 360 has become the first console of the current generation to reach the 10 million units sold mark in the U.S., with 19 million sold worldwide and 12 million users on Xbox Live.

If the 360 gets a price drop it is game over for the PS3rd. Sony will have to get used to being at the bottom looking up for a change.

Hmm me thinks this is a response to Sony's 'we're ahead in Europe', after all a whole ton of news sites reported that and did NOT report the MS counter that they had a 1 mil lead in Europe.

My head is starting to hurt from all the numbers

MS's sales data is from NPD and GFK who collect from in-store sales records, warranty replacements don't factor in to till receipts get your facts straight.

Yes and MS quoted Chart Track and GFK while Sony's claim seems more like Vaporware without a source that backs them up.

Oh and NPD data just in, contrary to Micheal Patcher's latest botched predictions 360 outsold PS3 by a whisker.
