If you're looking to game then I'd suggest the 1st option as an 870m will perform significantly better on a 1080p screen than on a 3k scren. The 500$ price difference comes with a 3k screen (don't ask me), 4GB more memory (40$), 7200rpm disk (20$ from 5400rpm disk), smaller screen, half the 1st option's weigh and no blu ray (they save like 80$ here)

I would go with the first option as well as most applications are not very good with high res screens.
