Hi!
I've got an Acer Aspire 5738ZG that I connect to my TV through a fully functional HDMI cable. The problem is that I get a really high pitched noise at certain sound frequencies, it makes my TV speakers sound like their busted. It can be anything from a voice in a dialogue to a bass tone in background music. I should say that I also have a home theater sound system plugged in, but that's not the problem. When I watch regular TV with the sound system, there's nothing wrong with the sound from the TV nor the satellites.
The problem started after I'd formatted my laptop, so I really hope it's a driver issue though I have all the latest revisions.
I've tried:
Different movie players, BS player, VLC and Zoom player
A different HDMI cable
Movies/music from all kinds of sources, DVD/CD aswell as rips
Tried to get answers from five forums, but I've gotten no answers
I hope someone out there can help me with this, I'm desperate. Watching movies isn't fun anymore.
