Alienware 18 won't power on

So I disassembled my laptop to add some new thermal paste. After reassembling it, it wouldn't power on. No fans, no lights, nothing.

At first when I plugged in the charger, the light indicating the charger was plugged into the laptop would turn on. I unplugged the charger from the wall and let it sit for a couple second until the green light turned off. I then plugged it back in to the wall and to my laptop. Now not even that light indicating it's charging will turn on.

What could be causing my laptop not to turn on? I'm hoping it's something simple even though it probably won't be.

Have you check with out battey by direct power supply?

Yes I've tried running it without the battery. I've also tried a hard reset on the battery (holding it for 30s etc).
