Anolog chanels only on my hd cable tv setupritty

I just bought a 73 inch hd tv Mitsubishi my cable company only has 62 channels that r anolog. they dont come in as hd. kind of grity. how can i get true hd images on my new tv should i drop cable tv or

What channels you get on your TV are dependent on what cable service tier you subscribe to. If you're just getting basic cable, then you won't get any HD channels no matter what TV you buy. If you do subscribe to a service tier that includes HD channels, then you should have received a HD Set Top Box from your cable provider and you should be using one of the HD output ports from the set top box to your HDTV.
