Asus A42F No Display No POST

I have an Asus A42F that doesn't display anything after I power it on.

After pressing the the power button that power LED lights up and the HDD LED lights up and blinks for a bit. I tried connecting to an external monitor via VGA cable and when I press the menu button on the monitor it says "TEST GOOD".

What could be causing this? Is the motherboard dead?

Check your rig for a recessed reset button (might check the manual) am pretty sure this has one and try that
