Solved! ASUS X200MA Notebook PC external display not functioning after restart. No main monitor attached because it is broken.

I have an ASUS X200MA Notebook PX that has a broken lcd screen. What I did is I removed the whole LCD panel and replaced it with an external monitor. At first, the external monitor is functioning and displaying properly but after restarting or shutting down and turning it back on, there is no more display in the external monitor. I don't know what to do because I can't see anything in the monitor because it displays nothing. How can I fix this problem? Thank you guys..

Laptop should have a display swap hotkey, try using that. Also if you turn on the laptop the close the lid quickly after that, it may detect the external monitor as the only display and work again.
