Asus Zenbook Ux301 Charger issue (URGENT)

My Asus charger only works if I press it in really hard. I have the asus zenbook ux301. The laptop and charger were working fine. The laptop is still working because I've taped the charger. Do I need a new charger? Or is there something wrong with my laptop.

Could be the power connection inside to the board is loose or slightly separated.

If it's still charging or working when you push on it , it shouldn't be.

If it breaks off it could be , don't push on it too hard.

Did you try your charger on other laptop and see if it is charging without pushing it in. If it does that the wire connection is lose.

Yes it worked! If the wire connection is lose what do I do? Buy a new charger?

So sorry i just made a real blunder there. I meant to write if your charger works on other laptop without pushing it in? If it works without forcefully putting it in than the problem is with the laptop motherboard.
