Cannot get my Blu Ray Pioneer player to play Blu Ray Movies

I just recently got a new blu ray player, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to play blu ray movies on it, I have the latest codecs, and VLC but even that won't play it, even after installing the legendary codecs for VLC, So what Do I do to get it to run my Blu Ray movies, Please help, I even bought Media Player Center for it, but no go with that as well. Here is the info on my pioneer blu ray player

VLC cannot play blu-rays without encryption keys held by the film companies.

As they're not willing to hand over the keys to an open source program, you'll need to buy blu-ray playing software.

Sorry (well, not really), it appears my memory is wrong.

Free software called 'PotPlayer' is able to play blu-rays, supposedly.
