Canon 5t help!!

I bought a Canon T5 and when I put my memory card in my computer to see my pictures it won't open them and and it says its a CTG file and I don't know how to change them to JEP or view them.

You shouldn't have to mess with the CTG file according to everything I read -- for example http://photo.stackexchange.com/questions/5121/what-is-the-ctg-file-in-canon-sd-card

install software to view the raw file
