Canon Powershot Won't Import Video's

I have a Powershot SX240 HS with Windows 8 but when I try to upload my videos it comes up with an error saying "device unreachable". It also does this for most of my Pictures. Need this sorted tonight please

I looked for drivers and such and said with windows 8.1 it should be fine

cant find a windows 8 or 8.1 driver there but it might have installed the 7 driver

try the canon software rather than windows if its only available for windows 7 install it in compatibility mode
