Hey guys! I am using this article to help me install CentOs: https://www.howtoforge.com/centos-7-server but I am having problems. I downloaded CentOs Minimal from here: https://www.centos.org/download/ . I get to where the install screen is and press enter. It brings me to a command line does some commands and then brings me to a command line I can control. It completely skips over the CentOs setup menu. Does it make I difference that I booted from a usb using CentOs minimal instead of using the CentOs dvd and booting from that? Help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

CentOS should have fully graphical interface install even if it is a minimal install ( on minimal after reboot will be only terminal).
And yes try the actual CD you will definitely have less issues.

I also believe the regular download dvd should contain the option to just install minimal one once you are in install options.
