Chrome Book 11 Blank Screen - See details

So I am working on the Chrome Book 11 for my friends Kid. The screen just wont turn on. Voice assistant yells everything it wants to do like inset a password but nothing on the screen. I've tried reinstalling the OS and here is where things get weird. Bringing up the recovery screen it turns on shows the screen ETC. When i place the USB drive into it it starts to read it and then the screen shuts off again. If I remove the USB drive the screen turns back on telling me no media is attached. Anyone run into something like this and have you found a solution?

Ended up assuming it was broke, no amount of troubleshooting could recover it.
