Connecting laptop to projector thru VGA cable

Hi,

Can Any one advise, I am connecting my laptop to Benq projector by VGA cable but the laptop speaker sound is not good enough. My projector is connected to old(make 2006) SONY home theatre system. I would like to transfer the sound of laptop to the home theatre speaker which had input /output analogue cable point.

The VGA cable only carries the video signal. The audio needs to be sent separately. On most laptops, the only option is the "Speaker out" jack. You will need a dedicated wire, and then connect it to the speaker system directly. The wire suggested below should do the job.
