So I have a pair of Mackie CR3 Monitors and a Polk PSW10 Subwoofer. I was wondering how to have them running as a system for my computer however the monitors don't seem to have an output. As of right now, the speakers are hooked up via headphone jack while the subwoofer is waiting to be used.

So how would I go about making this work? Will I need an external interface? A dac? Plz help... I'm desperate.

If your computer doesn't have a sub out then you would split the headphone out to connect to both the monitors and the subwoofer. If you had a subwoofer output then that would allow you set up as a 2.1 in the computer that would remove some bass from the Mackie speakers allowing them to play a bit louder. Since they only go to about 80hz this is not a big deal so don't worry about it.
You will need to set the relative level of the speakers and sub. Use the computer volume control to adjust overall volume.
