Hi, i have a laptop with GTX 660M with newest driver 358.91 installed. Windows 7 SP 1, DirectX 11
I have a problem but not sure on which part and i hope to find answers here.
So the problem is that when i turn on the laptop for few hours to browse and not using it to watch or play, it can't play any games later on.
It also happen when using vlc, windows change the color scheme to basic and not display anything and only the sound comes up.
I can resolve these issue by restarting the computer, but it only does for temporary, a few hours to browse, the problem comes again.
I found out that my DDI version in my DxDiag becomes 9Ex from 11 in that few hours.(DirectDraw and AGP texture become not available)
I cant found any on internet that have the same issue with me, so i hope there is people that can help me.
Sorry for my bad english
Thank you.
(I can add dxdiag system info if you need it)

Hi,

Try to do a clean install of your graphics card.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the NVIDIA graphics driver.
- Open Programs and Features and uninstall anything related to NVIDIA.
- Download and install the latest driver from it's support site.
- Here's the link: nvidia.com/download/index.aspx
- Reboot your laptop once installed and observe it.
