hi i recently bought the asus rog gl553VE.
at the beginning i installed gta 5 and cs go as well as other games, but after a few runs with the games i started encountering lags and stuttering with gta 5 in particular. i checked the rog gaming center to check the readings and i found out that my gpu memory was being excessively used whenever i run a game it goes from normal to red and starts giving me all the aforementioned issues. it started with gta 5 in other games the lag is not so noticeable but i can still see it ocassionally.

i updated my drivers, the issue was resolved for a while. needless to say it still persists.
i want to know if there is a problem with my laptop or the software.
i read some of the memory leak answers for GTA 5 but coudn't find a solution, if you guys could help me diagnose the real problem here it would help me a great deal.

Thanks in advance.

update 1:
i tried checking my gpu using msi after burner and found out that my gpu usage was fluxing from one value to another giving me lag and stuttering issues in games.
tried finding solution about these yet no luck. please guys desperately need help :(

here are the graph readings of the msi after burner:

update 2:

checked GPU-Z to find the same readings as the msi afterburner when system was idle

if you opened two Gpu-Z's and had one of them looking at igpu and one at dgpu, and then used the sensor pages the igpu should be effectively dead if the dgpu is being used, its temp will fluctuate (as the CPU die heats up), but util should be around zero.

i tried it, i dont think its switching between the two, since the igpu doesnt fluctuate its constant
could the sensor be faulty?

good timing! i was just re-installing my gta 5 because it was giving me 20 fps in game, and yes i did make profile for it, oddly enough when i set the graphics card setting to nvidia 1050ti for the GTA 5 launcher it gives me an error saying "GTA 5 launcher has stopped working" from the integrated gpu. its giving me an error saying " the social club failed to load due to an incomplete installation(code 16). Please exit the game and re-install the latest version of the social club" lol
