I got a 60inch LG Smart TV dirt cheap, everything works fine, except for the HDMI ports, which is a HUGE problem because I only use the TV with my PS4. I have tried every fix besides baking the motherboard, but recently saw a YouTube video with someone connecting a PS4 to an older model TV by way of a HDMI converter to AV, so was wondering if this would also work for a newer TV as well? I would just purchase one to try as they are relatively cheap, but the person I purchased the TV from is willing to give me money back, so can't make him wait. Please HELP!!

Cause if you're lucky enough to release toxins that kill you, the motherboard won't seem like that big a deal.

My only hesitation for returning it is that it's a $1400 smart TV that I got for only $200, because they needed the cash, but they say the never used the ports so were unaware they didn't work, plus I'm not gonna lie it's heavy as a mf !!
