Hdmi unsupported .

If I plug dvi to hdmi cable straight into the ps4 I get video signal on the TV If I plug the dvi to hdmi into the av receiver and then plug the ps4 into the receiver with another hdmi cable I get no signal it says unsupported. I have checked and set the resolution and I,m sure I have assigned the hdmi port correctly . Any ideas

is there a particular reason you're using dvi input on the tv instead of hdmi?

is it a dvi-d cable?

my guess would be your issue may be related to HDCP.
