I just bought some Vulcan ANC headphones (http://rog.asus.com/accessories/vulcan-anc/). I plugged them in, and everything usually sounds fine, but when watching videos, voices appear to be very faded. All other sounds seem to come in fine; I think it's just voices.

I have onboard audio, and I updated my motherboard drivers, but to no avail.

I tried plugging them into my brother's computer, which also has onboard audio, and had the same problem. There doesn't seem to be much in the way of support on the ROG web site. Am I missing something really obvious here?

My motherboard is MSI, model number MS-7522.

Try turning off the noise canceling feature first.

If the videos are using surround sound encoding, the voices usually are set to the center channel speaker. If the play-back thinks it's going to a 5.1 setup, this may cause what you are hearing.

Also, how many and what type of videos have you tried? Is music OK with the voices?
