Greetings,
I have an Android TV box (T95x) and can't get it to work with my Pioneer receiver (VSX-330).

Previous setup:
Cable box to receiver via HDMI.
Blue Ray to reciever via HDMI
Xbox to receiver via HDMI

One HDMI connecting receiver to TV.

TV set on HDMI 1, I just had to change the source on the receiver.

Now:
- replaced cable box with Android box via HDMI into receiver.
I have no signal now when I select that as input. No audio or video on the TV.

* The Android box works when plugged directly into the TV, but i'd like obviously to have the sound features from the receiver & speakers.

Question - how do I get the Android box to work through this receiver?

TV is a Samsung LN52A650 .
Thanks

Solution
Try a different HDMI cable and a different input on the receiver.
The order things are turned on also can affect HDMI "handshake". Try booting up the box last or the opposite if that is the way you tried it.
A workaround is to use an HDMI audio extractor to provide an optical audio out for the receiver.
