How can a CRT get a blu ray picture when it doesn\'t have an HDMI feature

How can a CRT HD set get a Blu Ray picture when in was purchased a year before HDMI came out.

Your TV will have component video inputs. New Bluray players will not support HD output from these so find a used one that does. You can also buy an HDMI to component video converter.
