How do I connect a DVD and sound bar to a TV and cable system but the DVD player does not have an HDMI port

I have a DVD player that doesn't have an HDMI port and I have a TV that doesn't have an optical port so I'm confused on how to set everything up. DVD player and sound bar TV and cable box. Please help.
