How to format an SD Card?

Hi! I'm working on a Mac, and i don't know how to format an sd card for my Canon Camera. I emptied the card on the computer, but once inserted in the camera, it shows "SD Card full". thanks for the help!

Once you copied all the files, simply open the menu and go to format. That easy. If you don't know where the format option is, READ THE MANUAL!

Via card reader you can connect your SD card, open 'disk utility' and find the connected sd card drive. Now click on the ERASE option and you formatted your SD card....
