How to play 1080p Movies in CRT TV Sony Wega using laptop.

We own an old Sony Wega CRT TV. Is there any way I can connect my LD RD405 laptop ( It plays 1080p movies with ease) to it. The laptop and TV do not have any hdmi port. Is there a way that the output display can be transferred to the CRT TV.

Ok. so both doesn't have hdmi port. It will be more helpful if you tell us what port they do have.

Assuming that the TV and laptop don't have the same output and input (VGA or SVideo for instance) you will need a converter to make the connection. You can't just use a cable.

You will also need to make the TV a second or extended screen and set it to the resolution of the TV (which is not 1080p). You will also need an audio cable if you want the sound to come out of the TV speakers.
