Hello,I have a new laptop with windows 7 and it does not have a firewire port so I cannot import my h sony handycam to my laptop please help thanks

If your Handcam has a USB port (I note that some do) you can use that. If not you could try a firewire/USB convertor - I've never used one so I can't make any recommendation.

Perhaps if you post the exact model of Handycam it might help.
