I have a non bluetooth Hisense smart TV which i want to connect a wireless keyboard to. the keyboard does not use bluetooth

I have a non-Bluetooth Hisense smart TV. the onscreen keyboard is horrific and would like to use my wireless keyboard which uses a unified receiver and not Bluetooth, is there any way i can connect the keyboard to my TV.

I have tried just plugging in in but it doesn't work. i also tried loading the drivers of the receiver on a USB stick but the TV does only recognizes media formats (mp3, jpeg etc.)

Any feedback would be really appreciated.

TVs are not yet PCs.
USB has limited uses on TVs. Usually playing files and firmware upgrades are the only functions. I think you are stuck with the onscreen keyboard unless Hisense makes a wireless keyboard for the TV.
