I replaced the screen on a dell 1545 the back light works but no picture or text, any help PLEASE

I replaced the screen on a dell laptop 1545, Ive got the back light but no picture or text. After I did that I thought it had to be the motherboard so I replaced that and still nothing. I've got the back light on the new screen, but the same black or nothing on the old screen, please Help

Before replacing your motherboard, I would have first connected it to an external monitor to see if you get picture on that. If you haven't done that yet I suggest you try that first. Need to see if the video card is a bust or not.

Did you get the exact model screen for your system? Are you sure it was a bad screen to begin with?
