I turn on my Acer d270 notebook, the power button is on but I cannot hear any fan running.

I am turning on my note book bit nothing is happening. The screen is dead, no fan running, but power light is on. What do I do??

Welcome to Tom's Guide Forums,
I'll suggest trying a reset. With power adapter unplugged from laptop and battery removed, press and hold the power button for ~30 seconds, put battery back in, plug in adapter, attempt to power up then. See where you get.
