Is this a legal way to get music?

Napster and Rhapsody allow free music plays, if I connect the line in cable to my Creative Zen V Plus will it be legal if I record the music to the player just for myself?

Does that in anyway automatically puts money into the artist's bank account?

Dude, of coarse that's not legal, but that's not going to stop you, because they have no way of finding out. ;)

I record songs online with audacity all the time.

It's the safest way to pirate music, if you even want to call it that.

Just use Limewire! That has been around for years and is not illegal. Make sure you have good virus software though.
