Hi!
I have a HP 650 Notebook. Recently, it started shutting down randomly (only on battery). I know for a fact that it's not a heating problem. I've been monitoring the temperature of the CPU, and it's never higher than 54C. The thing is, I can immediately turn on the laptop without plugging the charger in. This, supposedly, means that there's nothing wrong with the battery, either. One more nothing, I don't know if it's a coincidence, but a couple of times the laptop shut down as soon as the fans started working.
