I am looking for a hybrid to use at school, from typing documents to watching videos, and coding. I usually have a lot of tabs open, and I would also use it for light gaming like Terraria, Minecraft, Counterstrike, etc. I also would Something in the 400-700$ range. Thank you.

Hi,

Here are 2 suggestion for a laptop (not hybrid though) that will suite your taste and based from where you'll use them for. As you mentioned you'll be using it more for coding and opening multiple tabs so you'll need a laptop that has high memory and CPU which these 2 have.

The 14" ThinkPad Yoga 14 does come with a nVidia 940m. But it has a base price of $850. It is the only convertible (2-in-1) laptop that I am aware of which has a dedicated graphics chip. It also supports an active digital pen which is sold separately by Lenovo and that pen is specific to the ThinkPad Yoga 14. Based on reviews that I have read no other digital pens will work with this laptop.

BestBuy carries this laptop (at least in my area) so if you are willing to increase your budget to $850 + tax, then you can visit your local BestBuy to check out the laptop. BestBuy is selling it for $900.

The least expensive Lenovo Yoga laptop is the 11.6" Yoga 3 for $650 which is probably too small for the OP's needs.

I recommend the 15.6" Asus Flip for $637. It has a Core i5-5200u and a 1920x1080 resolution screen.
