Laptop won't turn on after acidentally powered off

Hello there.

I'm in need of serious help right now.

I accidentally turned off the power from the outlet during the laptop(Asus N55s) were shutting down.

Now it won't start.

If I push the power button, the laptop power led will flash for a second, when the led stay lighted, the laptop won't boot up(it just stay like that) and the led on the adapter is flashing when I connect the charger to the laptop.

Tried the 'push the power button for 30s' method without any luck.

Your help is appreciated.

Try taking out the battery and disconnecting the charger. Out it all back and try again. Good luck...

@reedo43 I don't have battery attached due to it being broken haha

Yeah I did try the thing you said(minus the battery) but it doesn't work sadly.

A little googling said that the problem might caused by fried MB.
I did opened the laptop to check anything unusual and there's nothing like that.

Maybe your ram got whacked around when you dropped it. Try re-seating the memory sticks.

Didn't remember dropping it or anything and did try reseating it before on both slots.

The problem is solved.

The culprit is the now defective charger.
