Solved! Mixing composite with component??

Hi. I have an old satellite receiver that only has the yellow video out but a HDTV that I would like to buy has only the RBG video inputs.

Can I hook my equipment up with a regular RCA r/w/y cable and use only one of those component video inputs and cheat?

No, but if you google, "Composite to Component converters", you should be able to find what will work. I would note that higher resolution HDTVs (component inputs) will not display lower resolution signals (composite outputs) very well.
