[citation][nom]amk-aka-phantom[/nom]Phone makers ought to stop pursuing ultra-thin phones and make a REAL battery; for once! Or at least make sure the battery size is not restricted by the back panel, so that you can get an aftermarket fat battery... SGS 1 had that, not sure about SGS 2. I don't care if my phone is thick (as long as it's not thicker than my last smartphone, Nokia N72) as long as that thickness provides more battery life. Seriously, making phones ultra-thin is a pointless trend started by Apple and is not useful at all. If your phone has a 4.65'' screen, it doesn't matter how thick it is (within a reason), it will NOT fit into a small pocket.[/citation]
What are you talking about? I had a 5" Dell Streak, it always stayed in my pocket thanks to it's slim battery. I think it's better to have a slim default battery, and aftermarket can take care of the bulkier battery + battery cover.
Although it would be convenient to not charge the battery for couple days, I don't mind charging the battery once a day. If you are not even getting one full day use out of it, then you might be using it too much (like addicted).
