I recently bought a Sony BDV-E2100 home theatre and connected it via HDMI to my Toshiba 32HL993N TV. The sound works fine when I play a blu-ray disc or the radio through the home theatre, but I can't seem to figure out how to play the sound of the TV channels through the theatre.

I have a Amino AmiNET 140 HD set-top box which is also connected to the TV via HDMI. When I am in the theatre menu and select Input -> TV nothing displays. If I change to the other HDMI channel (the one the set-top box is connected to) the picture displays but the sound is played via the TV, but not the home theatre as I'd want it to. I also don't find a way to connect the set-top box straight to the theatre as it (the theatre) only has one HDMI slot. What am I doing wrong, or in other words, how do I get the sound from the set-top box to play via the theatre?

I could not find any info on the TV. If the TV supports ARC then you will need to connect the HTiB to the HDMI input labeled with ARC and turn it on in the TV and HTiB. If you don't have ARC in the TV then you will need to connect the TV or set top box to the HTiB with an optical cable.
