No files will open on sd card

I put sd card in phone from camera mount card it reads but no files will open to view. Anyone help me . I have very important pics

The phone may not be able to read the files the camera put on the SD card.

To start, did you make sure that the app you are trying to view them through will actually look on the card? Most apps aren't auto set to search both the phones storage and the SD card for files. So try checking the settings in the app you are using to look for the files first.

Should that not work, then I would try the following...

Your best bet is to put the SD card back into the camera and then connect the camera to a computer, via USB cord. You can then move the files over to an empty folder on the computer. From there you can either convert the files to a format the phone will read, if they are of a format that it won't. Or you can resize the files, as if they are to large the phone may not read them as well.
