Mobo: Gigabyte GA-h170-hd3
GPU: MSI gtx 750 ti
Monitor: Samsung S22D390
Headphones: Razer Kraken v2 (it was a gift, don't judge)
Due to another driver fluke, I'm trying to temporarily use my NVIDIA HD audio driver to have sound.
That means getting sound through my HDMI, to the monitor and from there to my headphones through the 3.5 jack.
The problem is, nothing but faint noise is coming out of my headphones.
The NVIDIA HD audio is selected as default, it's registering sound, and the monitor is set to AV.
No audio enhancements are active, no speaker fill, full range speakers, or bass management.
The driver seems to be up to date.
It's always been like this, but I never had any use for this method as I used the audio jacks.
No need to get into that now, though.
