NO Sounds from TV only STB when hooked up to AV

I have a LG Smart TV it is hooked up as follows: 1 HDMI cable from the TV to the A/V and 1 HDMI cable from the A/V to my Fio's STB however when I try to watch movies on my TV via its Smart TV Apps, The Movies Plays but the Audio is whatever channel was STB was on. Any clue on how to alleviate this problem?

Unless your TV and AV both have ARC (audio return channel which sends audio from the TV to the AV) you will need to add an audio cable from the TV the the AV. Most TVs have an optical audio output.
