My brother is buying my old Toshiba Satellite L650 laptop. I did a complete factory restore which worked will but since then the Z key hasn't been working. I have pulled off the Z key to clean under it but it still doesn't work. What else can I do to fix it or will I need to order a new keyboard. I also live in NZ so I can only buy from places located in NZ.

Thanks

Make sure you clean it. Try tipping it, then shaking it. Some things might come out. Maybe taking a little peek GENTLY below it. Maybe try gently putting your finger on the key, then moving your finger in a circular motion. Feel anything? If so, if it might be a corn flake, (my guess) just crush it. If that isn't helping just go to your local computer repair. They will just pop the key off then replace it. Have you been eating near this computer? If you have not, time to get a new one..
