Problem with my hp dm4

i bought a new hp dm4 1063cl
whenever i type into blank some program (eg windows messenger or skype), the program will stop responding
i tried uninstalling and stuff, but it doesnt work...
is this a driver problem or a computer problem

Do you have the latest updates/versions for windows messenger, skype and the other programs that seem to lock up? Also, ensure that windows is completely updated via windows update. See where that takes you.
