RCA 7 tablet with external keyboard case

Used only two times. I can not get the external keyboard to work..I have tAken tablet out of case made sure connectors were clear...tried resetting...to no avail..after reading all these problems with RCA tablets I may just return...please advise on why keyboard will not work..or what I can try to get it working..thank you..

If it is new enough that you can return it, it may well just be a defective product. Take it back and have them give you one that works correctly.
