Hi, i wiped my ssd clean a few months ago and installed Windows 10. I want to use OSX now, but since my OSX recovery partition is gone i can't re-install it. Help plz!!!
If your Mac is new enough you can recover via the Internet: http/osxdaily.com/2014/12/14/reinstall-os-x-mac-internet-recovery/ . If not, you need install media - either a USB stick or a DVD.

Since you do not have recovery partition.. Use Recovery Partition Creator 3.8.. This helps you to use OS X's handy OS X Recovery feature, or to enable FileVault on an external drive, you need a special recovery partition on your drive. This utility can add it if the OS X installer didn't.
Is it just me or is there something of a Catch 22 situation in recommending software that needs OS X to run to someone who doesn't have an OS X installation?
