I have a Samsung UN60JU6400 60-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV, everything works on it except my cablebox. Whatever HDMI Port my cablebox is on the TV shows "No or weak signal". Its not the port or the cable as I have swapped ports and cables between a Raspberry Pi. HOWEVER I have plugged my cablebox into an Acer PC Monitor using the HDMI Cable and it works...
The cablebox is a Samsung SMT-C5320 which is the latest model Cablevision/Altice/Optimum uses. I already had PC Richards come out and look at the TV. He did some kind of reset and it worked for awhile. The Tech from PCR said that the Samsung TVs have a problem working with Cablevision's boxes. Which led me to believe it was true as I plugged in my PC Monitor and got a picture.
The Tech also mentioned that the Firmware Updates can sometimes knock the TV out as well.
Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated and I hope a factory reset is not necessary...
